20250328 18305000 1.0 TRUE Vent Structures - inactive (Source: Ocean Networks Canada) Times and positions of observed and annotated hydrothermal vents during ONC dives between 2007 and 2016 have been extracted from the dive logger comments in the Oceans 2.0 database. The structure follows that of the Coastal and Marine Ecological Classification Standard and active or inactive descriptions are added where known. Note: this layer is not a representation of all hydrothermal vents at EHV MPA, or the result of specific seafloor surveys. It displays wherever hydrothermal vents were observed and logged in Oceans 2.0. The observations have been compiled into a layer and hyperlinks to the video added using the time string. If the link does not go directly to the point listed in the video, then it is likely that the video is not yet transcodedfor that dive.
